Ikiru : Watanabe and Toyo

Watanabe (Takashi Shimura) spends the day with Toyo (Miki Odagiri), a young woman from his office, because he is enticed by her love of life. Later, he tries to tell his son Mitsuo (Nobuo Kaneko) about his cancer but cannot because Mitsuo has already made assumptions about his odd behavior.
