Persepolis : Opening Credits and Sequence

Instead of boarding her flight to Tehran, Marjane ("Marji") (Chiara Mastroianni) reflects on her youth in Iran. Living with her mom (Catherine Deneuve), dad (Simon Abkarian), and grandmother (Danielle Darrieux), young Marji (Gabrielle Lopes) witnesses the start of the Iranian Revolution.
