Film Language Tag: 180-degree rule violation

Breaking the 180 degree rule when shooting or in editing. Since the image on the screen now shows the action from the opposite point of view as before, this may result in a continuity jump where actors seem to suddenly switch positions on screen or cars seem to change their direction of travel without warning.
