Farrell (Glenn Ford) appears just before Gilda (Rita Hayworth) returns to America and tries to reconcile, having learned she wasn't unfaithful. Gilda reassures Farrell that both of them were to blame, but now that they are being honest with each other they can begin their relationship anew.
