Jupe (Steven Yeun) hosts a live show at Jupiter's Claim and plans to use a horse to lure the UFO so that the audience can see it. The UFO instead sucks up the entire show, including Jupe. It is revealed that the UFO is, in fact, not a spaceship, but an alien creature that eats living beings.
Raining Blood, Nope
OJ Haywood (Daniel Kaluuya), Em Haywood (Keke Palmer), and Angel Torres (Brandon Perea) hide under cover as an alien creature excretes what it cannot digest (i.e. all of the blood and personal belongings from people it ate from Jupiter's Claim).
Don't Look at Her Eyes, Please, Nope
OJ Haywood (Daniel Kaluuya) walks around his house after an alien UFO excretes blood all over it, yelling out for his sister and friend to come to the car. The music is distorted because of the alien's interference with electricity. A flashback reminds him not to look up at the alien.
Em Explains the History of the Haywood Family Business, Nope
Emerald Haywood and Otis "OJ" Haywood Jr. introduce their family business on a film set, while explaining the needs and restrictions of the horse who will be in the scene. When the horse is spooked by a mirror, the wranglers are fired and the live horse is replaced by CGI.
The Wilson Family Encounters Their Doppelgangers, Us
Adelaide (Lupita Nyong'o) and Jason Wilson (Evan Alex) are in a room with their clones. Adelaide’s clone forces Jason Wilson and his clone to play while the clone gives her life story. Simultaneously Umbrae (Shahadi Wright) and Gabe Wilson (Winston Duke) fight their respective clones, finding crafty ways to outmatch their opponents. Eventually the family finds each other and leaves, surviving the encounter.
The Wilsons and Tylers Meet at the Beach, Us
On the way to the Santa Cruz beach the Wilson family sees a dead body. Shortly later the family arrives at the beach and, while interacting with the Tyler family, Adelaide Wilson (Lupita Nyong'o) encounters multiple coincidences that throw off her ability to converse with Dahlia Tyler (Elisabeth Moss). Gabe Wilson (Winston Duke) converses with Josh Tyler (Tim Heidecker), and Umbrae Wilson (Shahadi Wright) hangs out with Becca (Cali Sheldon) and Nix Tyler(Noelle Sheldon). While the family members are distracted, the youngest, Jason Wilson (Evan Alex) wanders off, forcing Adelaide Wilson (Lupita Nyong'o) to panic while looking for her son.
Adelaide Confronts Red, Us
Adelaide Wilson (Lupita Nyong'o) confronts Red (Lupita Nyong'o) who has captured her son, Jason Wilson (Evan Alex). As Adelaide creeps up behind Red, weapon in hand, Red begins a monologue about her life as a tethered. The monologue is overlayed with images of Adelaide and Red as young girls. The twist that Adelaide was originally a tethered is revealed.
I Got Five on It, Us
Adelaide Wilson (Lupita Nyong'o), Gabe Wilson (Winston Duke), Jason Wilson (Evan Alex), and Zora Wilson (Shahadi Wright Joseph) begin to sing along to the car radio playing "I got 5 on it". The mother tells her son to "get in rhythm", but she proceeds to snap her fingers off beat.

Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) continues his escape from the Armitage estate. While on the road, Rose (Allison Williams) catches up to him.

While answering a question, Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) takes a photo of "Logan," (LaKeith Stanfield) but the flash triggers something within him. Afterwards, Chris and Rose (Allison Williams) leave the house while the Armitage family plays "Bingo."

After waking up in the middle of the night for fresh air, Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) runs into Missy (Catherine Keener), who sends him to the Sunken Place.
