Film Language Tag: framing
The arrangement and composition of elements in a film frame, i.e. the entire rectangular area of a film image as projected or as visible on the screen.
As soldiers stand on the beach a plane is heard. It drops bombs, the soldiers hit the ground, and we see the bombs falling toward Tommy (Fionn Whitehead). He is spared and stands back up with the rest of the soldiers as they realize they are fully exposed with no air force to defend them.

This scene captures the Cardinal's joy and commitment to the game.

It flashes back to the present and The Narrator hits Durden, starting the first fight of the movie and the beginning of fight club.
Pyare (Rehman Khan) comes to Aslam’s (Guru Dutt) house to find him and happens upon a moment between Aslam and Jameela (Waheeda Rehman), making him realize that Jameela is in fact the woman that he saw at the beginning of the film, who he thought he was marrying.
