Film Language Tag: interior

A shot that appears to take place inside a structure — a house, a cave, a car, etc.— regardless of where the shot actually takes place. Most interiors are shot indoors, though during the Silent Era (c. 1886-1930) interior sets were often built outdoors to take advantage of natural sunlight. Kroon, R. W.
